Lloyd A. Hudson, DDS, MD

Dr. Lloyd Hudson was born in Fort Worth, Texas and was raised in Richardson, a suburb of Dallas. He received his Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in 1987 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) Degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where he graduated in the top of his class in 1991. After dental school, Dr. Hudson chose to further his education in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed a 6-year intensive residency training program at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. This training program consisted of an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Hudson also received his Medical Degree (M.D.) during this time, where he again graduated in the top of his class in 1994 from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Hudson began his private practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1998 after 10 years of post-graduate training.

Dr. Lloyd Hudson is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Tulsa County Dental Association. He has active hospital privileges at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa.

Dr. Hudson has been married to his wife Jamie since 1988, and has four children: Morgan, Drew, Nick, and Samuel. He is very active in his church, First Baptist Church of Tulsa, where he teaches an adult Sunday school class. He enjoys spending time with his children in all their many activities. He especially enjoys coaching his son’s basketball teams, and is very active with them in this sport. Dr. Hudson’s office policy comes from the Bible in Matthew 7:12, which states “Treat others as you want them to treat you.” He calls this his “back to the basics” office policy which benefits all involved.
